Pathways to Presence Experience | August 28-30, 2026

Enneagram

The Enneagram is a personality framework describing nine distinct patterns of motivation, perception, and behavior. During the retreat, we offer an engaged overview of all nine types, taking time to explore each one thoughtfully rather than rushing through descriptions. Through reflection, discussion, and guided exercises, participants deepen their understanding of both the system and themselves. Identifying your own type (also known as a pathway) provides insight into how you show up as a therapist—your strengths, relational tendencies, and blind spots. This awareness strengthens clinical presence and enhances your ability to attune to the diverse patterns your clients bring into the room.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of cultivating present-moment awareness with curiosity and without judgment. Throughout the retreat, mindfulness is intentionally woven into our exploration of the Enneagram, helping participants notice their emotional reactivity, defense strategies, relational habits, and internal narratives as they arise in real time. While the Enneagram illuminates the habitual ways we become identified with our personality structure, mindfulness provides a way to step back and observe rather than automatically react. Through guided practices, silence, and reflective exercises, participants strengthen their capacity for grounded awareness. This integration deepens self-understanding and enhances clinical presence.
