Overview of the Weekend

Yoga

Experience gentle, accessible yoga designed to help you slow down, become more present, and reconnect with your body. Through guided movement and breathwork, you’ll discover simple ways to release tension, reduce stress, and bring more balance into your everyday life.

Mindfulness

Learn practical mindfulness skills to help you slow down, become more present, and navigate life’s challenges with greater calm and clarity. Through guided practices, you’ll discover simple ways to cultivate awareness, reduce stress, and bring more balance into your everyday life.

Meaningful Conversations

Engage in authentic conversations with other moms in a supportive and welcoming environment. Share experiences, gain insight, and be reminded that you are not alone in the joys and challenges of motherhood.

Reflective Art & Journaling

Set aside time to pause, reflect, and listen to what matters most. Guided prompts and personal reflection exercises will help you gain clarity, perspective, and a deeper connection to yourself.

Rest & Renewal

Give yourself permission to step away from responsibilities and focus on your own well-being. This retreat offers space to rest, recharge, and return home refreshed in mind, body, and spirit.

Parenting Boys

Gain practical insights and strategies for raising boys with confidence and connection. Explore ways to better understand their emotional world, strengthen your relationship, and navigate the unique opportunities and challenges of parenting sons.

Retreat Schedule, Investment & Retreat Leaders

Schedule: The retreat begins Friday, August 25th, at 4:00 p.m. and concludes on Sunday, August 30th, at 11:00 a.m.  All meals are included during the retreat and meals times are: 

  • Breakfast 8:30 – 9:15 a.m.
  • Lunch 12:30 – 1:15 p.m.
  • Dinner 5:30 – 6:20 p.m.

Private Room: $850 per person

Bring a Friend: $700 per person
(Shared room; registration required with a friend)

Retreat Leaders: 

David Paul, LCSW, MDiv, has facilitated retreats for over 25 years and is known for creating inclusive, transformative spaces for self-discovery and connection.

Mindy Van Wart, is a Resident in Counseling and Art Therapy practitioner.  She has been facilitating retreats for many years. Drawing from her own meaningful retreat experiences, she loves helping others find space for reflection, creativity, connection, and personal growth.

Experience Required?: No prior experience with Yoga, mindfulness, or meditation is necessary.

Because we intentionally keep this retreat small and relational, registration begins with an expression of interest rather than immediate enrollment. Once we receive your information, we’ll reach out to schedule a short Zoom conversation so we can get to know one another, answer any questions, and ensure the retreat is a good fit for you and the group.

Please Note: While hosted at a religiously affiliated retreat center, the retreat itself is non-religious and welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs.

The Manor House, a charming 1905 bed-and-breakfast-style home, provides an intimate and welcoming setting for our retreat. Serving as both lodging and gathering space, it offers a peaceful environment that encourages rest, reflection, and meaningful connection with fellow mothers throughout the weekend.
